This course offers an overview of the entire IS discipline, while giving students a solid foundation for further study in advanced IS courses. In general, this course has four main goals:
  1. To provide a core of IS principles with every student should be familiar
  2. To understand the relationship of IS courses with business environment
  3. To present the changing role of the IS professional
  4. To show the value of the disciplines as an attractive field of specialization
